(GREEN BAY) - Franco Harris ran for 118 yards and one touchdown and Frank Pollard added 90 yards and another score to lead a punishing ground game that carried the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 25-21 decision over the Green Bay Packers. It marked the 43rd game that Harris broke the 100-yard threshold, and the yardage also put him over the 11,000-yard mark for his career. Harris' performance overshadowed another brilliant afternoon by Packer QB Lynn Dickey, who fired three touchdown strikes to James Lofton, and finished the day 13 of 19 passes for 283 yards. Lofton caught five balls for 169 yards. His three touchdowns marked the first time a receiver caught as many against Pittsburgh since Miami's possessive Paul Warfield turned the trick in 1971. The Steelers erased a 14-13 halftime deficit by rolling 64 yards in 12 plays to set up a 30-yard field goal by Gary Anderson at 6:03 of the third quarter. After forcing Green Bay to punt, Pittsburgh took over at their own 9-yard line and Cliff Stoudt, mixing some pass plays into the Steelers relentless ground attack, brought the Steelers to the 2 in 11 plays. From there, Frank Pollard, who finished with 90 yards on 20 carries, busted over to give Pittsburgh a 23-14 lead.
