(MINNESOTA) - Lynn Dickey passed for two touchdowns. Jan Stenerud kicked two field goals and Greg Boyd sacked Minnesota QB Steve Dils for a safety as the Green Bay Packers beat the Vikings 29-21 and moved into a first-place tie in the Central Division. Dickey's touchdown passes covered 5 yards to John Jefferson in the second quarter and 19 yards to James Lofton in the fourth, his 23rd and 24th TD strikes of the season, tying a Packers' record. Stenerud's field goals covered 46 and 40 yards and Mike Meade ran 1 yard for Green Bay's other touchdown as the Packers and Vikings each left the field with a 6-5 record with five games remaining in the season. The Packers rolled up a 19-0 halftime lead, then survived a rally sparked by Darrin Nelson, whose rushing and receiving set up Rickey Young's scoring runs of 1 and 4 yards, and a 4-yard touchdown burst by Tony Galbreath.
